Shoe Box Appeal

Our 6th class students worked very hard this year organising a Christmas project.
Usually, both 6th classes would take part in carol singing in Passage West raising well needed funds for local charities. Due to Covid 19, they were unable to continue the tradition. This year, with the help of Ms Good and Ms O Connell, they organised a Cork Penny Dinners Shoe Box Appeal. The results were outstanding! The whole school worked together in their class pods and followed government guidelines. The children collected 121 shoe boxes and filled them to the brim – an absolutely amazing result! We are so proud of all the children and their families who were involved and who donated so generously. Thank you to all staff members for getting involved in this project.
Well done 6th Classes.
