Intrepid Explorer Edward Berwick- parent of Liam and Charlie Ribeiro-Berwick came into first and third class to tell us about his trekking expedition up Mount Kilimanjaro- the highest mountain in the continent of Africa. He successfully reached the peak of the mountain which is an incredible feat considering how difficult a summit it is to climb. He braved tough conditions and managed to avoid altitude sickness. Edward inspired the pupils of first and third class and many of the children in Star of the Sea are hoping to follow in his footsteps.
