The Sixth classes were honoured to have won the first Fr. Con Community Spirit Memorial Award in Star of the Sea. They were nominated because of their hard work and dedication in organising the Penny Dinners Shoe Box Appeal, a very successful cake sale to raise funds for the Fr. Con Memorial Benches and for bringing festive cheer to the community by carol singing at the Post Office in aid of Maraymount.
